Native plants are drought-tolerant once established, but new seedlings and plugs need help.
How
- Keep seeded areas lightly moist until seedlings are a few inches tall
- Water plugs deeply once or twice a week in the first season
- Water in the morning
- Reduce watering in year two as roots grow deep
